YCS Resiliency Center

Contact: Cherisa Allen, Ypsilanti Programs Community Liaison
Phone: (734) 221-3948
Email: callen2@ycschools.us
Website: YCS Resiliency Center & Homeless Youth Program

The YCS Resiliency Center is a one-stop resource for Ypsilanti Community Schools students and families. Families can access clothing, shoes, toiletries, non-perishable food, diapers/baby wipes when available, and other basic-needs support. The program also helps connect students and families experiencing homelessness with additional services.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Shopping is by appointment. YCS also currently advertises Friday drop-in shopping from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Eligibility: Services are intended for students and families who attend Ypsilanti Community Schools. I would remove the wording saying families simply need to “live in the YCS district,” because current YCS information specifically describes the center as serving YCS students and families.
